You are a podcaster who is hosting a weekly science show. In
relation to your community’s disaster-preparedness program,
you want to help the government in disseminating information
and in raising public awareness on different geologic
phenomena that could happen anytime. You are going to record
a five minute audio clip that will be uploaded to your own Web
Site. This will be visited by your online audience from different
walks of life. Your success will be determined according to the
comprehensibility and accuracy of your content. If sending your
output is not possible due to your resources you may create
your written version but make sure to submit it you’re an
illustration. Use a long bond paper in creating your illustration
(drawing) and write you podcast script in the same paper. You
may pass your output together with the rest of your answer
sheet for the week. You may send your output via messenger if
applicable.
- Your output will be graded according to the holistic rubric
below.
We are almost done with the first quarter of the year. Now it is time for
us to check and assess your learning through your output. Below are the
details about your first performance task. Do your best and try to use all
the possible resources to create a realistic and useful output.
The coverage of the exam will the topic discuss from August 31 to
September 18. Good luck and do your best!
