Mindfulness Reflection Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is crucial for fostering overall well-being. In this paper, I will explore the healthy practices I currently integrate into my daily routine and the new habits I intend to adopt , based on the insights from the video. The aim is to improve my mental health, emotional stability, and overall health. One major healthy habit I use in my daily regimen is having a balanced diet. It’s a fundamental healthy habit for so many reason. A balanced diet ensures that you receive a wide range of essential nutrients your body needs to function properly. Eating a variety of food helps maintain stable energy levels throughout the day. My main reason for a well-balanced diet is weight management. It can help regulate body weight by promoting a healthy metabolism and reducing the like hood of overeating. I know for me, I have 3 children and my body it’s so different from I was a lot younger. I have gain over 35 pounds, so it’s very important for me to have a well-balanced diet. Another healthy habit I use is exercise regularly. Engaging in physical activity like, walking, jogging, or yoga for at least 1 hour most days of the week. Exercising has a wide range of benefits for physical and mental health. It improves cardiovascular health, support weight management, boost mental health. Exercising regularly can help reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress; it also improves sleep quality. I started working out after I had my third baby and since I have notice that not only have I lost weight but also my mood and self-esteem have improved.
