Yes he should accept it
As it will encourage others to generate new ideas and bring them into discussion.
Moreover if employees are not happy with this idea, its implementation will inspire them
to discuss the pros and cons of any idea presented on C-skype before its implementation.
No he should not accept it
As only three professionals commented on it and it is a very small number as compared
to 30 professionals present on that conference.
Mr. Usman should again bring this idea to discussion whether on C-skype or in face to
face meeting before its implementation.
2. After analyzing the whole situation Mr. Usman has found that people are
reluctant in giving their feedback on the discussions opened through C-kype.
Suggest some ways through which he can improve the communication and
participation of employee on C-kype.
Mr. Usman should create awareness about the advantages and usage of C-kype.
He may circulate the do and don’t of using C-kype to avoid unnecessary and
personal messages.
A person should be assigned the task of moderator to keep the discussion on track
and within defined rules.
Employees can be motivated to participate through appreciation and incentives
Proper feedback should be given on the ideas generated and discussed by
employees on C-skype.
