Prepare: Know about Physiotherapy and Monash

 Think about why you want to study physiotherapy

 Have you seen physiotherapy or other health care providers in practice?

 The Physiotherapy Department is part of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. Look through the Faculty website and the Physiotherapy Department site before your interview.

 Visit the Monash University website, check the university ranking tables and keep a look out for stories about Monash in all types of media.

 The interview explores personal qualities that would be suited to a health care professional. What would you expect from a professional looking after your health?

During the interview

11

 The way you present yourself is important. This is not assessed as part of your interview, however it looks best if you prepare to present yourself in a smart and comfortable way.

 Turn off your mobile (and don’t talk/text on your phone while you are waiting to start your interviews!)

 Greet the interviewers as you begin each interview station. Use their names if their names are mentioned. It also helps if you say your name when you shake hands.

 When you have finished your time with one interviewer at a station a bell will sound to move you on to the next station.

During the interview

 There is no feedback available on the interview itself
