PRESENTATION:
In presentation 55% body language, 7% speaking and 38% tone matters.
There are four methods of presentation, These are,
1. The Reading Method.
2. The Memorize Method.
3. The impromptu Method.
4. Extemporaneus Method.
THE READING METHOD:
It is a faulty method of presenting as the presenter concentrate on written material not the audience.
THE MEMORIZE METHOD:
It is a faulty method because speaker concentrates on memorized material lest he may forget so he makes
less interaction with audience.
THE IMPROMPTU METHOD:
It is one of the best presentation method. It involves brain storming. People who are well learned use this
method. Politicians, religious scholars etc. use this method.
THE EXTEMPORANEUS METHOD:
It is also called academic method. It is used in class rooms for presentation. In this method we can use
projector, laptop or a page. In it you are supposed to write only the main points in the form of an outline
using bullets, dots, arrows etc.
THINGS TO DO AND AVOID DURING PRESENTATION:
1. Avoid making too much slides.
2. Do not shoot out slides.
3. Do not add any point in your presentation you are not clear about.
4. Don’t make any type of lame excuses before presentation.
5. Just start presentation by telling the topic.
6. Never lose eye contact.
7. Don’t overload your slides.
8. Do not read from slides.
9. Be on time for presentation.
10. Don’t be apologetic during presentation.
11. Body language should be confident.
12. Don’t read notes during presentation.
13. Don’t avoid eye contact during presentation.
14. Dressing sense should be nice during presentation.
15. Avoid fidgeting during presentation.
16. Act natural during presentation.
17. Don’t read bullet points during presentation.
18. Don’t speak too much during presentation.
19. Don’t panic during presentation.
20. Presentation should be done in a given time.
21. Avoid personal excuses during presentation.
22. Try to be on the point during presentation.
23. Don’t talk too fast during presentation.
24. Don stand on back during presentation.
