This assignment involves group work but each student should submit an individual portfolio folder. Part 1: A four-day training schedule (using project management software) and a training package to include a range of activities, seminars, workshops, team-building activities and break-out sessions. Part 2: Ten-minute Microsoft® PowerPoint® style presentation with interactive links to suitable sites and an activity sheet (Your research should be referenced using the Harvard referencing system. The recommended word limit is 500 words, including speaker notes, although you will not be penalized for exceeding the total word limit). Part 3: A written evaluation of your performance in this task and your contribution to the team. You are required to make use of headings, paragraphs, subsections and illustrations as appropriate , and all work must be supported with research and referenced using the Harvard referencing system. The recommended word limit is 500–1,000 words, although you will not be penalized for exceeding the total

word limit. Assignment Brief and Guidance You have been asked to support your training and development manager with the planning and implementation of a professional development event targeted at internal employees within the organization that you work in. The training event is scheduled over a four –days (4) period at a nearby residential center, and will include a number of workshops , coaching sessions and team-building activities. The center requires a schedule of the types of activities proposed so that plans can be finalized. In addition, any guest speakers or motivational coaches will also require a minimum of three weeks’ notice for all bookings. You have also been asked to design and deliver a workshop as part of the training event based on the dynamics of team working. Working in small groups (3-4 per group):

1. Produce a professional event schedule (using project management software) and WBS (work breakdown structure) that identifies planning and resourcing prior to the four-day event. In addition, design a training pack to include a range of activities, seminars, workshops, team- building activities and break-out sessions. 2. Design ten minutes workshop session based on ‘team dynamics’ to include a presentation, interactive links to suitable sites and an activity sheet that will require delegates to take part in some form of team- building task. Student’s Answer

  1. Planning Material 6.1 Team building We will create small game at the end of the training day to create a sense of humor and entertainment for viewers. We ask everyone to form teams to compete with each other to increase sprit of unity as well as an opportunity for people to get know each other and talk to each other. Because of this, the teamwork spirit will be very useful for the next training sessions.. Organize activities under the management of 3 people including: Hon, Long and Tien. Some mini-games are include solve the puzzle. All of the games below will be played on a team form. This will increase the teamwork between everyone. As for the funding of the tools we have prepared in advance 6.2 Training

This training session will be designed in the form of a conference. Because of the time limit of the training session, we - the training organizer did not have time to receive and answer the viewers' questions. Therefore, we have set up this conference for everyone to exchange knowledge around assignment topic. Thereby, we hope everyone will open up and share with each other what they have learned and discuss about questions and unknowns to ask questions for us. In this confidence, we only play the role of the coordinator and the receiver of the questions after the listeners have finished their discussion. Because it is a confidence, we will also provide tools such as paper, pens and tables and chairs arranged suitable for the purpose of information exchange between training participants. II. Presentation Hello everyone, my name is Nguyễn Hoàng Long and these are my 2 team members: Thi Kim Hơn and Nguyen Ngo Minh Tiến. Today, we will be talking about how to improve your assignment writing skills.

The training program train new student to understand the way to do a standard assignment of University of Greenwich. the ability to do an assignment effectively. We set out the objectives for the project as follows: Train new student on doing the first part of assignment, train new student how to do the body of assignment, train new student how to do last part of an assignment, request student to check out and follow the standard assignment form will be last 4 days. If the viewer understand the structure and instruction to do an assignment , then it is considered to be a successful. And if the view understand the performace of criteria of the assignment then the training program is considered to be successful and goal achieved.

On the first day of the project, From 9:00 am to 10:30 am, Minh Tien will introduce the new student about the University and detailes. From 11:00am to 12:00 pm Kim hơn will explain the definition and the importance of the assignment.

about On the third day, from 9:00am to 10:00am, I will join with 2 member group to execute a mini games in the training process to consolidate knowledge about assignment as well as creating an atmosphere of entertainment, comfort. And then from 10:00am to 11:00am, we let the student to practice and also give an example of participants so the student can use what they have learn. Then finnaly , from 11:00am to 12:00pm, we will give the student some advice and check their skill what they have learn. So that they can finally improved the assignment wring skills.

On the fourth day, from 9:00 am to 11:00am, Minh Tien , will share some tips for alterantive way to do assignment. Then 11:00am to 12:00pm, students will give answer and Kim Hon will accept and respond directly. To ensure the new students wont have a hard time to answer their question.

Thank for watching my presentation. III. Evaluation and lesson learn During the training process , we have done the following task like : Presentation , give advice, introduction. Practice. On the second day , my task was to presentation about the assignment and explain how to do it step-by-step. I contributed like : How much reference you need, Importance of an assignment. This will help student to get a good chance of success and adequate grade for major. On the third day, we create a small mini games to consolidate knowledge for the students. This create an atmosphere of entertainment and teamwork. And then we started the practice to test the new student have they learn anything to use to write assignment. I contribute like: Explaining the question , adding the picture, how to make outlines. Final of the third day , we check the student how they’ve done the assignment and give some advice for better work next time. I contributed: Do the research early, get feeback, Write the introduction last. This proves new student will surely use this tip to pass assignment with good gtade. To be honest , the training process going well but for me , I still have some thing to learn.

My problem is that my first experience of presentation was my voice low and most of the students couldn’t hear me. And the team bulding that I’ve never contributed before. So, therefore I have to learn more about team working and brainstorming to come out a contribution. Also I have practice speak with more confidence , determination. Beside , I have learn how to act , Take referencing seriously and Choose the right words
