“ART”

VISUAL ARTS

It appeal to the sense of sight

and visual in nature

  • Artists produce visual arts driven by

their desire to reproduce things that

they have seen in the way that they

perceive them (Collins & Riley , 1931)

FILM

  • art of putting together still

images to create an illusion of

movement

  • Can be created by using one or

a combination these techniques:

motion-picture camera,

animations techniques,

Computer-Generated Imagery

  • Focuses on aesthetic, cultural

and social value

  • Art and Industry - Experiences or

creates

imagination and

eliver ideas,

feelings, or beauty

Filmmaking is complex it

consider the important

elements such as lighting,

musical score, visual

effects, direction and more

Four important elements:

Time, Performer’s body,

relationship between the

audience, Performer (Moma

learning, n.d)

  • It cannot be brought

or traded as a

commodity

POETRY PERFORMANCE

Exhibit clarity, beauty and to

stimulate strong emotions of

Joy, anger, love and sorrow.

Poetry is an art form where the

artist expresses them through

words

ARCHITECTURE

  • Making of beautiful buildings
  • Not all buildings are beautiful

It only embody the functionality

they need but the structure, lines,

forms, and colors are not

beautifully expressed

  • For example,

DANCE

  • Series of movements that follows the

rhythm of the music accompaniment

  • Dance is a form of expression - Dancers are not

confined to steps and

rules but are free to

create and invent their

own movements
