Hello, my name is Sonia. Today I want to talk to you about my friend María, who is taking an English class with me, but she is at risk of failing the class. The main reason for this is because she works 12 hours a day, she is married and has a baby, so she has little time to study for the English class. I keep telling her that if she fails the class, it will become worse because then she will have to repeat the semester all over again. Besides, her husband can become mad because he is paying for her English class. She told me she doesn’t have the energy at night to keep studying after a long day of work, cleaning the house and making dinner for her husband and baby. I guess I understand that it is really hard, but it is important for us to approve this semester successfully in order for us to keep moving forward in our college degree. I told her I would help her with some quizzes and summaries from the class that I have done, so that it can help her study for the final exam. If she gets 100 on the final exam, she will approve the course and keep moving forward. I also told her that it is important to her to talk to her boss, so they can give her a more flexible schedule at work and she gets the time to study the way she needs to do so. If I was the president of our country, I would invest in education, health, work. A thing that would be important to me is to implement in all school reading and studying the Bible deeply, and also giving a lot of scholarships for the children that are in need. I would also invest in tourism and putting in the international spotlight the cultural diversity our country has. If I won the lottery, the first thing I would do is give the tenth part of the money to my local church, because I know this is a way, I can glorify God and my local church is in charge of making good decisions and helping people with that money. With the rest of the money, I would invest in properties in order to rent them, and other properties to help. I would also use the money to establish foundations that help endangered women, and the last thing I would do is to make a children’s hospital.
