1.
Hello, my name is Elena and I have decided to respond to Jane's email.
2.
I chose Jane's email because I feel identified with her. I also have a full-time job
(in my case I work in the courts and having the degree would also help me to
move up there). My work is two hours from my house and for me it is also
difficult to combine everything, but I want to give you some tips that are useful
for me.
3.
First of all, I would like to encourage you because I think it is a good idea to take
the degree, especially if this helps you improve at work.
It's true, a full-time job makes studying very difficult, but studying at the UOC
allows you to study at any time of the day. I, for example, do it on the commutes
to work (since I go by bus), on breaks for lunch or breakfast from work or after
dinner (relaxes me before sleeping).
As for what you mention about your son, I think this is a point in your favor, you
could study with your son. When he does his homework, you can stand by his
side and study or prepare PECs.
Do not be discouraged, I think that abandoning once you've started is a defeat.
Once you achieve what you have proposed, you will feel very satisfied and you
will see an improvement in your life if it improves your work.
4.
Finally, I would like to give you a couple of tips: First, I think that using a weekly
planner would help you a lot, as it will help you know what you should do and at
what time. Second, my advice is to sleep and rest well, because if you are tired
during the day you will not have enough energy to do everything 100% as you
would like.
5.
In summary, I would like to tell you that I think it's a good idea that you've
decided to study, that you do not get discouraged and that you're going to get it,
it's just a matter of organizing. You can study in your spare time at work or with
your child. Finally tell you that it would be very useful for you to use a weekly
planner as well as to sleep correctly.
It has been a pleasure and I hope to help you, regaaaaaaaards.
