COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK
The Common European Framework (CEFR) is a document used to describe
achievements of learners of foreign languages across Europe. It is a point of
reference, a linguistic policy made up of descriptors called "can-do statements"
which describe all students can do. The purpose of this document is to create a
framework that everybody can understand all around Europe.
LEVELS:
There are three main levels and this three are divided into six levels:
- Basic user
A1 -beginner
A2 -elementary
- Independent user
B1 - pre-intermediate
B2 - intermediate
- Proficient user
C1 - upper intermediate
C2 - advanced
This levels measure the students skills: listening, reading, spoken interaction,
spoken production and writing. All of them imply automaticity and show the
qualitative aspects of spoken language use:Range, that is related to variety,
Accuracy has to do with correction, Fluency, Interaction and Coherence.
