Then, my dad STANDED up and went to see what was happening. When he OPENNED the door of the kitchen, he saw a tall man who WORE a black tracksuit and a grey scarf covering THE face. He felt nervous and frightened but he was able to knock him out. While the thief was lying IN the floor, my mum phoned the police. Ten minutes later, two police officers entered IN our house and arrested TO the burglar. Finally, we felt safe and we continued watching tv. (122 words)
6.- A FRIGHTENING SITUATION. Choose the best option in capital letters. Last Christmas, my friends and I wanted to PASS / HAVE a good time, so we decided to MAKE/ HAVE a party at my grandparents´ house IN /OF Sanxenxo, which is empty in December. 7. A FUNNY /AN EMBARRASING SITUATION. Rewrite the sentences using the words in brackets. 1.- Last summer , while my grandfather was reading in the garden of his house by the beach in Bueu, two middle-aged men went up the stairs which connect the beach to the garden.
