Consigna para la Exposición 2
1. Learning objective
By the end of the unit, the students communicate information about professional qualities and
skills in a business context.
2. General instructions
In groups, students will present under the following scenario:
Imagine you are giving an end-of-the-year presentation to the CEO (your teacher) of your
company. Each of you represents a different department (e.g., Sales, Data, Human Resources,
Customer Service, Operations, etc.) and will discuss 2-3 key achievements from your team during
the year. Briefly explain the actions your team took to accomplish these goals. Be prepared, as
the CEO may ask follow-up questions for further details.
3. Specific instructions
Content considerations:
- Students must include the vocabulary (e.g., achievements, technology and functions,
jobs, work areas, divisions and responsibilities, business activities, etc.) and grammar
(past simple and present perfect) covered in Learning Unit 3.
Formal considerations for the presentation:
- The presentation should last approximately 10 minutes per group (this may vary
depending on the groups formed). Each student should speak the same amount of time
during the presentation.
- Students are encouraged to bring visual material to support their presentation, which
should include images and key words.
4. Recommendations
- Review the class materials.
5. Evaluation criteria
Below, you will find the evaluation rubric that will be used to assess the activity. Remember that you
can also find it on the virtual learning platform. Make sure to read it before completing the activity.
