Lesson 3
I'd like to have a side parting since this haircut is really easy to handle, and prevents your hair
from being messy. Apart from the side parting I wouldn’t like to have a fringe, but perhaps
comb it sideways using gel. Of course this means my hair is short, since I find long hair
uncomfortable. I like highlights in other people but I think they don’t suit my style.
Lesson 4
Dear Matt,
This is the best way to get to my flat from the bus station. Since you arrived on bus I’ll assume
you will be walking to my house, which is good because it’s not that far. Once you arrive to
town you’ll have to walk down 3 streets which are right ahead of the bus station, then you’ll
meet a roundabout, walk through the pedestrian crossing, and continue straight ahead another 3
streets until you meet a park, good, just before the park turn right and walk another street paying
attention to the doors on your right, my house is number 40 white door with a large glass on it.
Luck, Pablo
Lesson 5
Rules for my parents
1. You have to knock before you come into my room.
2. You mustn’t interrupt while I’m on the phone or skype.
3. You mustn’t enter my room while I’m sleeping.
Rules for my teachers
1. You can make jokes during lessons.
2. You mustn’t end the lesson late. (students have to go on bus)
3. You must attend students with doubts in your office hours.
Rules for my friends
1. You mustn’t make unnecessary puns on subjective stuff like movies, music taste etc.
2. When in my house, you mustn’t make excessive noise.
3. You must be honest when someone asks your opinion.
Lesson 6
What I most like about computers is the wide variety of activities you can do with one, for
example, a lot of people have stopped watching the TV because the internet offers pretty much
the same content without advertisement, for example you can find a lot of you tubers uploading
daily content, you can also find a wide variety of TV shows online. Another activity I enjoy a lot
with my computer is gaming, a decade ago, gaming in computers was a lot more complicated,
but nowadays there are a lot of programs and drivers that will help installing and running
games. And games are even cheaper! One thing I dislike about computers is price, If you want

And games are even cheaper! One thing I dislike about computers is price, If you want

a good pc for gaming let’s say there’s no way it’s under 800€. Or even worse these components can become obsolete and you’ll have to replace them for new ones to keep up, and again it’s expensive.

Lesson 8 Dear Matt, A week ago I was attacked by a shark while on holiday; I’ve recently left the hospital. It was the most terrifying experience in my life; I thought I was going to die. After being bit by a shark, dolphins started to surround me, and they frightened the shark away. My screams were heard by my friends and I was afterwards rescued by motorboat, moved to a jeep, and driven to hospital, were I was given a blood transfusion.

Lesson 12

Everyone wants you to come back to Cranfield, Kevin. You have to leave your pride aside and come to take your exams or else you’ll have a hard time. It’s not such a big deal to remove your piercings; it’s definitely not worth this discussion. We support you but we’ve talked with the head teacher about it and he is quite firm in his stance. It seems impossible for him to acknowledge that piercings are common nowadays thus; I don’t think he’ll change the rules. Like I said before it’s not worth your grades. Yours, Pablo Lesson 13 I won’t warn you again, Ian. These shoes are quite worn. How many times I’ve to tell you, mum. You can’t pause an online game. Your cat’s paws are so furry. He buried the evidence on his yard.

on my own, don’t you worry, I have already arranged al the security measures and will probably be accompanied by someone during the whole trip. I will call you everyday. Mrs. Crosby: I can’t let my little girl go across the world on her own! Lesson 21 Melissa: What have you been doing this afternoon?

But my mother also told me to turn on the washing machine, feed the cat and sort out my papers in order to fill in an application form, to send it afterwards to the post office. Jim: Don’t worry about that. Anna: There is another one next week, are you willing to come? Jim: We’ll see. I have a math test on Monday. Anna: The taxi is here. Do you mind if we stop at my house first? Jim: Not at all. Anna: Thank you. Is there class on Monday? Jim: I think so, but we can leave early.

Anna asked Jim if he had enjoyed himself at the party. Anna asked Jim if she should call a taxi. Anna asked Jim is he had any spare money. Anna asked Jim if he was willing to come. Anna asked Jim if he minded to stop at her house first. Anna asked Jim if there was class on Monday. Lesson 24

Dear Randy,

An incredible thing happened here yesterday. The whole story began last Wednesday

everything was normal except for Greg White, one of our regular customers, was short

of money in that moment and didn’t have enough to tip Katrin (one of our waitresses).

She didn’t care much, but Greg was very ashamed and kept apologizing until he came

with the idea of tipping her with his weekly bought lottery ticket, Katrin accepted the

deal in order to calm Greg down. Some days later Katrin checked the lottery numbers

while on her morning break, she couldn’t believe it she won 2 million pounds! She even

had to call me to check the numbers because she really didn’t believe it! It was

amazing, everyone in the restaurant celebrated, soon after Greg came in for his meal

when Katrin told him she won the lottery, the poor man went white, the regret was so

obvious in his eyes, but still he managed to congratulate Katrin, but she insisted in

giving him half of the money. It was an amazing day.

Yours, Cook.

Lesson 26

The worst holiday I’ve ever had was when I was in 4º ESO, the school organized a trip

to Andorra were we would stay for 5 days doing various activities, principally skiing or

snowboarding, that was up to us. What happened is that on the afternoon of the first day

I fell over, I broke my wrist and sprained my ankle, plus the clothes I wore were too thin

so I catched a cold. That means for the remaining 4 days I couldn’t do any

snowboarding, which we did 5 hours a day. On the evening we were free to hang out,

but I was far too tired, the cold was on its worst part. To that add my mother scolding

me through the phone because the trip was too expensive. The hotel was really nice, the

food was too good to be true. At the last day I started to feel better, but it was too late!

Lesson 27

Rick was disrespectful while playing so he was banned from the server.

She likes music so much she joined a band.
