DRACULA (Bram Stoker)
•Dracula is a book written by Abaraham Stoker after his conversations
with a Hungarian scholar where he learned about the bloodthirsty
monarch Vlad Dracula. He was a Irish novelist and writer of the
Jewish religion who finally died in 1912 in London from a stroke.
•This book is about a lawyer named Jonathan Harker moving to the
home of Count Dracula (Transylvania) by errands of his boss for real
estate negotiations but Jonathan is caught by the Count but finally
escapes and returns to London.
After this Dracula goes to Londres and that is when he falls in love
with Jonathan's fiancée (Lucy) visiting her every night and ends up
turning her into a vampire and killing her.
When this happens, the Count fixes his anger on Mina (Lucy's best
friend) who was also engaged, Dracula to survive without being in
Transylvania gives Mina his blood which makes her, although not
entirely, a vampire. Thanks to this they can discover where the Count
was hiding so that they would finally kill him so that Mina could
marry.
•I found this book quite interesting since I think the characters have
been very real and have also had a lot of drama, but what I didn't like
is that no more terrifying or bloody things have happened since this
book is a vampire novel. Despite this, my review of this book is good
as the drama improves it a lot.
