Nowadays social media have become so popular among young people
as a way of socializing. In our opinion they have reduced the ability of
being social in real life.

First of all, social media have helped us to get to know new people
more easily, but it has been detrimental to our socializing ability.
For example, since we have started meeting people through the
internet, we often prefer to stay at home instead of hanging out with
our friends or with new people.

Secondly, when you want to tell something to somebody you usually
text them instead of calling them.
For example, when you want to tell your mother that you have met
your friends and she isn’t with you, you text her and she will know it
without having to call her.

face to face and that's social media’s fault, because we have got used
to communicating by message.
For example, when we’ve been talking to somebody by chat and we
meet them for the first time, sometimes we don’t know what to say
