Do you remember present continuous?

The present continuous is used to say actions that are still happening.

The form to use it it’s with be + the verb with -ing.

Then… how are we going to use it for a future? We will tell you how.

The present continuous verb tense indicates that an action or condition is

happening now, frequently, and may continue into the future.

Introduction

The present continuous can
also be used for indicate
future situations, arrangement
or plans.

How can we use it?

The way you can say that something it’s happening but in the future it’s with the time.

Add the future time

More examples:

I'm playing tennis this afternoon.
Are they playing tennis this
afternoon?
He isn't playing tennis this afternoon.
My friends are coming
tonight.

More future times you can use:

● this afternoon ● tonight ● tomorrow ● tomorrow morning / afternoon/ evening / night, etc. ● next week / month/ December / year, etc. ● the day after tomorrow ● the week / month / year, etc. after next ● in ___ hours / days / weeks / months, etc. ● ___ hours / days / weeks / months, etc. from now ● in 2020 (or other year) ● on Christmas day / November 24th (future date)
