Introduction This report's main goal is to assess Eastwood High School's extracurricular activity programme and offer some suggestions for enhancements. General Description The secondary school proposed a six-month programme for 15 to 17-year-olds with the aim of giving students the opportunity to pursue additional development in fields of interest, including robotics club or cookery. Classes were taken twice a week, they had a limit of 20 students, and each one was required to take a test in order for the teachers to determine their level. Evaluation Overall, the lessons were helpful and very valuable and following the discussions with participants, all of them expressed satisfaction with the level of competence they had attained. However, one or two problems were raised in the meeting. First of all, because they had classes in the afternoon, when the extracurricular activities were held, some students were unable to attend all of the lessons. Another complaint concerned the children’s achievement as some parents considered that they were not able to see their academic progress because no one other than the students had been given permission to enter the sessions. Recommendations Taking all of the factors of this report into account, two main areas of possible improvement can be identified. The best course of action in regards to the timetables may be to simply provide two options, one in the morning for students who have classes in the afternoon and one in the afternoon for all other students. It would be advisable to hold some performances or displays so that the parents may observe their children's accomplishments in relation to the concern they raised.
