ENGLISH A1 -TASK 1 to 4
TASK 1
My father is a really nice person. His name is Juan Carlos and he’s from Bogota,
Colombia. He works as an engineer at home. He loves to walk with me, it is like our
favorite activity. His favorite color is blue, he says it represents peace. In his free
time, he makes exercise and draw building designs. My dad works for his family and
never gives up.
TASK 2
I prefer the D1 products. For example, the cheese in D1 is juicier and less salty than
the Justo y Bueno one; the cereal that you can find in D1 is more enjoyable and
healthier than the one in Justo y Bueno; the nachos in D1 are the most delicious all
time; the D1’s potato chips are cheaper and healthier than the ones in Justo y Bueno;
finally, I like more the cleaning products in D1 because those work better than the
Justo y Bueno’s ones.
TASK 3
Dear Paula,
Most of these days my family have been busy. My parents have a lot of work and no
one spend time with me. My grandparents are traveling to Canada, nearly all
families are traveling there because is cheaper now. Mathew, my brother is all long
day wasting his time on the computer, he studies in a popular university, few here
went before, he says it’s spectacular. My little sister María is growing up quickly,
she is in second grade now, all her classmates are children really cute.
TASK 4
I always make exercise at night. Usually, I draw building designs in my free time.
Twice a week I go to practice clarinet in my school’s symphonic Band. I often watch
TV or listen to classic music when I’m bored, also, I hardly ever go to swim before
class. Once a week, I go away to walk with my father or go with my family to
Monserrate. Almost never I read, actually I prefer to watch movies or series.
