To procrastinate causes a lot of problems. Procrastination is one of the
main barriers blocking you from getting up, making the right decisions
and living the dream life you've thought of. Sometimes all our
opportunities seem to be on our fingertips, but we can't seem to reach
them.When you procrastinate, you waste time that you could be
investing in something meaningful.
Procrastination can have a negative effect on students’
schoolwork, grades, and even their overall health. Students who
procrastinate experience higher levels of frustration, guilt,
stress, and anxiety—in some cases leading to serious issues like
low self-esteem and depression.
The effects of procrastination can have an even bigger impact
on high school students. Once students reach high school and
start receiving more take-home assignments and larger projects,
students who procrastinate until the last minute tend to receive
lower grades than their peers.
This can create a cycle of bad grades and low self-confidence
that can be difficult for students to overcome. At a time when
marks start to impact the post-secondary opportunities for
students, this can lead to a lot of extra stress and frustration
Finally, procrastination is also associated with various disorders,
such as depression and insomnia, but it’s unclear whether these
associations are correlational or causational, and if they are
causational, then in what direction, meaning that it’s unclear
whether procrastination leads to these issues directly.

able to reduce stress and self-regulate better (Sirois). There are also those who believe that procrastinating might strike raise certain concerns such as procrastinating on an assignment might suggest students have a lack of interest to that particular assignment In the beginning, it can seem like the right choice to make for me. i can live such a carefree life filled without worry; however, it can easily manipulate me until it eventually gets out of control and takes over me life. It is only a short matter of time before me discovers that me “perfect life” is crumbling down, but by then it is too late. Procrastination becomes a part of a routine- a habit. I’m basically a procrastinator. I have always wanted to stop procrastinating but didn't know how, it started when i was a teenager and i had trouble getting my schoolwork done. My parents always warned me not to put off doing my assigments. However , they also wanted me to make my own decisions. I guess they thought it was important for my experience the consequences of my actions, so they never forced to study hard and i didn’t. I guess i was fortunate to graduate from high school, and then from college. Later, when i started working , i still expected to finish my tasks by doing things at the last minute, however. i soon learned that, that strategy wouldnt work anymore. One day in my office, my boss requered us to write sales reports every month. I was nervous about the reports, so i put them off, of course and didnt even start them until the day they were due. When i tried to turn in one report a week late, my boos got angry. She said said it was important to submit the reports on time, end she tell me not to turn in report late again. she advise me to change my whole acttitude toward finishing necessary tasks. Finally, she encouraged me to complete my reports quickly. I took her advice and I starting to conquer the procrastination demon.
