Nowadays, increasingly young people commit crime and there are numerous reasons why they
are doing it.
First of all, as parents are focused on work, and they don’t spend enough time with their
children, teaching them what’s good and what’s bad. Furthermore, without a firm discipline,
some children are likely to get into trouble because parents don’t set boundaries for them.
Moreover, the media, apart from their friends, can have a great impact on them as it’s one of
the main resources they use.
When it comes to the lack of opportunities, it’s not a surprise that young people who feel they
have no chance of a good life turn into crime as a way of rebellion. Moreover, people who are
born in poverty have greater chances of committing illegal actions, for example stealing and
pickpocketing as it is the easier way of getting money.
To conclude, I strongly believe that parents are the ones to blame because everything comes
from home and nobody else has a massive influence on children than they do.
