Chapter 3:
•John the Baptist announces that Jesus is the one who brings the kingdom of
heaven (and saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at han, verse 2 )
•John baptizes Jesus, and the holy spirit descends upon him ;
Chapter 4:
•Jesus was led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil . (the
fact that Jesus did not sin confirm that he was the messiah)
•Jesus calling the disciples
•Jesus preaching in Galilee and healing people
