Os superlativos irregulares (geralmente precedidos de the) formam-se da
seguinte maneira:
superlativos dos adjectivos
good » best o melhor
bad » worst o pior
far » farthest or furthest o mais distante ou afastado
old » oldest

esta forma é regular

esta forma é somente relativo a pessoas da mesma família
superlativos dos quantificadores
much » most o mais
many » most o mais
little » least o menos
Exemplos:
She is the best student in class. Ela é a melhor aluna da turma.
This is the worst film I've ever seen. Este é o pior filme que eu alguma vez vi.
Who can run the farthest? Quem consegue correr mais longe?
He is the eldest of the three. Ele é o mais velho dos três.
John is the one who has the most
experience.
O João é a pessoa que tem mais
experiência.
