ASSIGNMENT 2

A. Methodological Styles

There are many different learning styles and interests, and not everyone falls neatly into one group. For years, researchers have been attempting to determine the most effective ways for pupils to learn through research. The three learning styles identified by this paradigm are visual, auditory, and tactile/kinesthetic. (Erika, 2022) Figure 1: Learning Styles Source: (turningpointcentre, 2022)

1. Visual Learning

Definition: Visual learning is the process of learning something new through a visual or spatial representation, such as a picture, chart, diagram, or other visual representation of a concept. Visual learners frequently possess intellect, excellent spatial-visual memory, and the ability to recall material when picturing it in their minds. They also retain information more effectively because they can see the relationships between the data as they process the lesson.

2. Auditory Learning

Definition: Instead of seeing information, auditory learning involves hearing it. Auditory learning is another name for this style of learning, which refers to how students digest information when it is spoken to them. The following are some instances of this kind of education: talks, podcasts, lectures, and music. As they read lessons aloud to themselves to internalize the material, auditory learners love working together and conversing verbally.

3. Tactile / Kinesthetic Learning

Definition: Tactile/Kinesthetic is learners with the opportunity to put their learning into practice and flourish when using all of their senses. This is frequently most effective in subjects where practical instruction is necessary to clarify the present subject. By getting students involved in the creation,

planning, and problem-solving processes, teachers can increase the amount of knowledge that students retain. Lab sessions, immersions, and practical workshops are a few instances of kinesthetic learning. (Erika, 2022) B. My Learning Style – Auditory Figure 2: Auditory learners style Soucre: (mytutor, 2022)

1. Auditory Learner’s Characteristics

The ability to remember names but not faces and to be readily distracted by sounds are characteristics of auditory learners. They prefer reading dramatic conversations and avoid reading protracted narratives and details. They gain from auditory repetition and love hearing or reciting material. Auditory learners enjoy talking and talking to themselves a lot, they enjoy music, and they find it difficult to concentrate in noisy environments. (Lincoln Land Community College, 2022)

2. Constraints of Auditory Learning Style

Because they are readily distracted by distracting objects, auditory learners have limitations when it comes to learning. It will be difficult for them to retain information when visuals and videos are used to teach, even when text materials are available. They will struggle to learn without reading the information aloud, practicing, or listening to aids. Additionally, it has limitations regarding the learning environment, as noisy settings are not recommended for auditory learners. (Fleming, 2022)

3. Tips for Auditory Learners (Cowley College, 2022)

Listening is the finest form of instruction for auditory learners. Speaking to oneself, listening to recordings, and attending lectures are all beneficial for auditory learners. Here are some study ideas to help students make the most of their preferred learning styles in the classroom and in their study habits:

  • To cut down on distractions, work in quiet settings.

Figure 4: Example of my learning style (computer) Explain: The above example is a video to go through this complete cybersecurity course, I learned everything needed to gain a deep understanding of cybersecurity. I will learn all the terminology related to cyber security. This is very important in the field of IT security. In the video, there are topics about computers, Cyber Security Terminology, Demystifying Computers, Demystifying the Internet, Creating strong passwords, etc..... Figure 5 : Example of my learning style (Biology) Explain: The example above is a video to go through a course in Biology an amazing area of math where division and multiplication are the same, may I know what DNA stands for? I studied and listened to materials on cell theory, DNA, natural selection, animals, plants, evolution, etc.

C. My Self Managed Learning

1. Self Managed Learning

Definition: Self-managed learning and look into some of the challenges that surround it. Discuss the constant interaction between educators and students who are attempting to assume control over their own learning. describes a consultant-created program that creates individual responsibility for lifelong learning. (Peckham, 2022) About myself: My self-management learning is to follow the instructions of the teacher, progress has begun to apply a new learning method. I am sure that personal growth and lifelong learning are having a moment. Self-directed learning is beneficial for me and will help me become more independent and confident both personally and professionally, recognizing my strengths and weaknesses. And here are some methods that I often apply for my self-study:

  • Learning Through Research Learning through research is a teaching and learning strategy that allows me to construct new knowledge, research techniques through time, and new insights on my own, doing preliminary research on the subject before forming a hypothesis, followed by research and evaluation of the results.
  • Learning From Others Learning from others makes it possible for me to always receive helpful advice and suggestions from people who are more knowledgeable than me or who have a different point of view and can help me with my task. If I want to start learning from my friends, family, teachers, or colleagues, I have to put in the effort on my own.
  • Learning from Attending Seminars By participating in seminars, it makes it possible for me to learn, get tips and advice from others, hear from knowledgeable and skilled speakers on the subject, and have the opportunity to socialize. with domestic and foreign experts in my field. The many benefits of attending seminars include enhanced communication and gaining knowledge, motivation and confidence.
  • Use of Internet for Learning Use the Internet to research, study, gather information, and access online lectures. I can quickly get knowledge and information about my subject, field, education, or major by using the Internet.

4. Aspects of Time Management

Figure 7 : Time Management Source: (websfarm, 2022) Definition of Time Management: Time management and regulating the amount of time spent on particular tasks is practice of time management. A person with effective time management may achieve more in less time, which lowers stress and promotes job success. (CFI Team, 2022) Aspects (michaelpage, 2022)

  • Set reminders for all your tasks The key to time management success is to know your deadlines and set reminders. We suggest setting a reminder 15 minutes before a meeting or event so you can prepare and gather your things.
  • Create a daily planner Make a list of the things you have to do that day, and as you become aware of meetings or deadlines, add them to the list. Make careful to cross off the items on your list as you finish each one.
  • Give each task a time limit Record how much time you anticipate needing for each job on your daily to-do list. If you don't complete it, quit after the given time is up and resume it later. It might sometimes help your mind to start over and see things from a new viewpoint to move on to other obligations and then return.
  • Block out distractions Instead of checking your email every 15 minutes, schedule 30-minute chunks to do so every couple of hours. Be careful not to get distracted by things other than work, such as your phone, social media, and games.
  • Establish routine Establish a work regimen that is effective for your role while you are there. You won't be able to put something off if you follow your regimen. Your stress levels and mental health are most crucial.

5. My Future Passionate Job

When I was a kid, I wanted to be the richest businessman in the world, but due to some things that didn't suit me, I gave up on this dream. Currently, I want to become a network cyber security programmer in the future, when I see information from hacked websites and applications, and there are websites that propagate bad things on social networks, I researched, learn, and learn more about firewall development to protect personal information, I used websites and documents to learn how to program a basic firewall for a website. Feeling successful in protecting the website from being hacked, I was determined to work and study harder to become a network cyber security programmer in the future. And I will try harder to get the job I want in the future. E. Personal Development Plan Template Step 1: Important goals that I want to achieve:

Step 3: How long will it take me to achieve this goal: 3 years Do I commit 100% to achieve this goal: ☒YES ☐NO Reward I will give to myself once I achieved this goal: a holiday with my family.

Action 3: Taking action on my goals should push me out of my comfort zone and gain confidence in my ability to complete small steps that bring the desired outcome. Action 4: To be measurable, I need to set standards for myself to ensure that every step I take is based on a larger vision and closer to the goal to be achieved. Action 5: Build a persistent mindset. Persistence in achieving my goals is often determined by time, and confidence in myself to be able to learn from my mistakes. Step 8: Who can help me to achieve this goal faster?
