CHAPTER 1: DEMONSTRATE A RANGE OF INTERPERSONAL AND TRANSFERABLE COMMUNICATION

SKILLS TO A TARGET AUDIENCE (LO1)

1. Different communication styles and formats. (P1) 1. 1 The definition of communication. Communication is the process of conveying information, ideas, and meanings between different individuals, groups, or organizations. It is the way we communicate and interact with each other to share information, understand and be understood, build relationships and achieve common goals.(UNICA, 2022) Figure 1 : Communication (UNICA, 2022) 1.2. Verbal communication Verbal communication can be understood as a type of oral communication where information is exchanged between people verbally. It involves the exchange of information through oral conversations, presentations, speeches, phone calls, video conferences, emails, chats, and any other form of language-based communication. Every interaction that uses speech or writing can be considered communication verbal. Verbal communication allows people to express their thoughts, opinions, feelings and intentions and build relationship

Non-verbal communication Non-verbal communication is the use of visual or nonverbal signals such as facial expressions, eye or body movements, gestures, etc. without saying.(SMITH, 2023) Figure 3 Non-verbal communication (ATPMedia, 2023)

Importance of time management Overall, there are 5 reasons of time management:Calculate productivity  Effective time management allows individuals to prioritize tasks and allocate the appropriate amount of time to complete them effectively.  This leads to increased productivity as it helps individuals stay focused and avoid wasting time on unimportant activities and can complete more work in less time  Reduce stress  Poor time management can cause stress, anxiety and pressure.  When you have a plan or schedule, you know what you need to do and when you need to do it, reducing the uncertainty and pressure of final deadlines.  Effective time management helps you stay organized, helping to reduce stress.  Improve decision making Time management allows individuals to spend enough time to gather information, analyze options, and make informed decisions. With good time management, people have the opportunity to think deeply and make prepared decisions, leading to better results.  Enhance work-life balance  Proper time management helps individuals create a better balance between work and personal life  By effectively planning and organizing tasks, individuals can allocate time to their personal priorities, such as family, hobbies or self-care.  You can also avoid overwork and burnout, leading to a more fulfilling and balanced life  Achieving goals  Time management plays an important role in achieving short-term and long-term goals.

 By setting specific goals, breaking them down into manageable tasks, and allocating appropriate time, individuals can stay focused and track progress.  Effective time management consistently leads to successful goal completion and increased motivation 2.2. Planning a training event a. Name of the program: Front-end Intern Training Program b. Goals of the program: Our program's objective is for interns to utilize HTML and CSS in their work and to have a good understanding of the ideas and characteristics of these languages after finishing the training session work at the business .To assist interns rapidly become acquainted with the business culture, our curriculum also offers supplementary training on a few principles and the working culture inside the organization.  (^) Interns can achieve the following goals during their training period: Interns may create basic static web pages by utilizing fundamental HTML tags such as heading, paragraph, picture, link, list, table, and form. Interns are capable of styling basic CSS to enhance the appearance of a website's interface, including color, font, margin, padding, display, and position. Interns use responsive design to create websites that look good across a range of platforms. Interns finish the last project, which involves creating a website that complies with design specifications for things like color scheme, layout, content, and photos. In order to perform well, interns are aware of the corporate culture and work procedures.  The interns evaluated how satisfied they were with the caliber of the training course. c. Participants: The participants here will be a group of 4 interns Le Quy Hai, Ngo Nguyen Nhat Linh, Pham Van Nhat Duy, Hoang Van Dong who have applied for the position of Front-end intern for the software company FPT Software.

Afternoon: (person in charge: Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long as a Senior)  12:00 - 13:00: Lunch break.  13:00 - 14:30: Continue with CSS - Basic effects and practice  14:30 - 15:30: Apply knowledge of CSS to the Web page created the previous day to have a more general overview of the knowledge just learned. Day 3: Advanced CSS and Responsive DesignMorning: (person in charge: Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long as a Senior)  9:00 - 10:30: Advanced CSS - Flexbox and Grid Layout.  10:30 - 10:45: 10:45 - 12:00: Continue with CSS -Break time.  Dynamic and Responsive Design.  Afternoon: (person in charge: Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long as a Senior)  12:00 - 13:00: Lunch break.  13:00 - 14:30: Practice - Build a mobile-friendly website.  14:30 - 15:30: Test, feedback, and fix errors.
