I. Project Proposal

1. Project Vision

Due to the impact of the global Covid 19 pandemic, my research project is based on the trend of remote working. I can synthesize data from research to assess and identify challenges and recommend appropriate solutions. Working remotely online is a trend applied by many businesses, especially technology businesses. Because this way of working will help businesses maintain operations, reduce costs and prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. While many factories, shops, hotels and restaurants are having to "cry to heaven" because of the gloomy business situation, as people limit their stay at home, turning the bustling downtown areas. As "ghost" neighborhoods, behind the doors, thousands of businesses and businesses are working every day to maintain "life". To maintain "life", the vast majority of businesses choose a solution that allows employees to work at. Pioneering businesses in this movement can be mentioned as: Google, Microsoft, Apple... In Vietnam, with the Government's policy of "Stay at home as much as possible", the solution of working remotely has become more urgent than ever. That's why I've done this research with the aim of developing more features of the remote work management software to meet the requirements of users to improve productivity and help them work better.

2. Define the requirements

Since each student in this survey came from many different schools and practiced at different companies to find out what the survey wanted, my research paper had to meet the following requirements:

  • Select suitable research subjects: students from universities in Da Nang who have completed internships at businesses in Da Nang city
  • Questions closely related to the results
  • Collected data is highly reliable
  • Conclusions must be based on evaluated data
  • Survey questions must provide the necessary data for the topic
  • Report: The report must include all requirements in the summary such as literature review, preliminary research, analysis of results, solutions.

3. Describe the deliverables

My research paper is divided into different research phases, with different research methods. So after each phase I have different intermediate research results. The following are some of the results of the main research phases of my research:

6. Get authorization

Ms. Phan Thanh Tra will receive all my reports. She will also evaluate this report. As I pointed out in the first assignment, Since my topic is the use of online public services, the respondents to my survey are all Vietnamese citizens of sufficient age to use them. Therefore, I reached out to the survey participants and got their consent pretty straightforward. And I will be able to use the information for my learning. II. Research Process

  1. Identify the problem: The professor's area of research is working remotely. So, my topic is to improve a software and tool to support remote working to make it easy for users to use and improve their work efficiency during the pandemic situation is still spreading. 2.Literature review: At the moment, I am conducting secondary research. I will use some previous research results on the same topic to support my argument. At the next level of research, I should be able to clearly see what I need to learn more about.
  2. Ask questions, research objectives and hypotheses. At this stage, I will set out the goals and objectives that I must achieve in this study:
    • Purpose: Surveying surveyors' opinions about the software they are currently using
    • Objective: Upgrade and improve the software according to the wishes and wishes of the surveyors
  3. Choosing the study design.

At this stage I will design the Work Breakdown Structure for my research project: Figure 2 Work Breakdown Structure 5.Decide on sample design In this section, I will select suitable subjects to participate in my research. As I mentioned in asm1, our survey subjects are students in Danang who are in the process of doing an internship. 6.Collect data: At this stage, I do the main research. To get people's thoughts through the survey method, I asked a series of questions related to the problem I examined. I used Google Forms to ask questions and allow users to participate in surveys directly over the internet. I will collect the necessary data for my research once a sufficient number of people complete the survey 7.Data processing and analysis. I base my conclusions on the diagrams and data I obtained during my initial investigation. I have examined, reviewed and compiled a list of issues raised by survey respondents. Make sure I fully understand the obstacles and difficulties associated with the topic I have chosen throughout this step. After I analyze the information I gathered from previous survey participants, I rate it. Based on the above findings, I set out to form tailored solutions, integrating multiple approaches to address all of the challenges and problems presented by survey respondents.

III. Reflection on the merits, limitations and potential pitfalls of the chosen methods

1. Secondary research

Pros : Because it mainly depends on the data already collected, secondary research can be completed faster and at a lower cost. The findings of previous studies will help us understand the problems and positive aspects of the topic we want to conduct research on. They can then quickly find a solution or continue to work on different research methods to clarify the issues that interest them as they learn more. Cons : One of the biggest limitations of secondary research is that it can be difficult to find information specific to a researcher's needs. Furthermore, existing research data may lack the necessary currency to match. Furthermore, many research records and publications have limited access and are not made available to the public. Finding too much research that isn't current at this point is a possible pitfall. Those results are out of date, and they are no longer valid at this point. At the same time, the concepts in those studies overwhelmed us to the point where we couldn't come up with new ones.

2. Primary research

Pros : Primary research has the advantage of allowing the researcher to collect original data that is current and extremely customized to their needs. The main objective of the research is to answer specific questions to meet the research objectives of the project. One of the reasons primary research is valuable is that it allows you to answer questions that are targeted to your individual needs. Cons : Due to the processes involved, primary research can be time-consuming, taking months or even years to complete. It can also be an extremely expensive procedure. Many research subjects are difficult to access, interview and survey questions are difficult to understand, leading to false research results and difficulty identifying appropriate solutions and ideas for research.

3. Quantitative research

Advantages : The use of statistical analysis and hard numbers found in quantitative research has distinct advantages in the research process such as: Verifiable and empirical; Straightforward analysis; Reputation. Disadvantages : However, focusing on numbers in quantitative research can also be limited, leading to some disadvantages such as: Wrong focus on numbers; Difficulty in establishing research models; May be misleading.

4. Relationship between methods

Secondary research will give us an overview of our chosen research topic. From there, we can determine which concerns need more attention in the main body of the study. To do primary research, you must rely on the results of secondary research. Based on the data obtained after primary research, we implement qualitative and quantitative research methods.

The following is a summary of these research methods: Secondary research leads to primary research, which leads to qualitative and quantitative research. These research approaches complement each other and their common goal is to provide background information. Then, we come up with the most relevant research answers and ideas. Then we provide the most approval. IV. Roles of literature review A literature review is a critical analysis of the research literature on a particular topic. Before writing a review, you must conduct a literature search and critically evaluate individual research. It is usually written as part of a thesis or research paper being submitted to a journal for publication, and it also provides an explanation for your research about what has come before. as justification for its value and meaning. A literature review serves as a quick reference for a particular topic. If you only have a limited amount of time to do research, literature reviews can provide an overview or serve as a starting point. They are useful reports for professionals who want to stay up to date with what's going on in their area. The complexity and breadth of the literature review highlights the credibility of writers on their topics with scholars. The literature review also provides a solid foundation for the investigation of the paper. The majority of research papers require in-depth knowledge of the literature of the field. I had to spend a lot of time researching and grasping basic to advanced knowledge of research methodologies and research procedures in order to prepare well for my actual research paper. In addition, I spend a significant amount of time researching, reading, and studying available research papers. Finding and learning new information is analogous to this procedure. I had to pick from a vast number of previously published research articles on my topic. V. How to create a project plan? How often to update it? Why updates the plan?

1. Creat Project Plan

Making a plan is a very difficult task, especially since this project is only done by me. I have to consider various factors such as manpower (me), time to complete the project, and the amount of work to be done (work breakdown structure) so that i can make a project plan.

charts. Simple and easy to understand images; Visually, data can be represented as a part of a whole. Provide users with data comparison at a glance for instant analysis or quick understanding of information; The reader does not need to check or measure the underlying metrics; they can use this chart to clear them instead. It will simplify the analysis of such data. Example: Figure 5 Example VII. Consider other research approach and improvements in future research

1. Consider other research approach

In addition to the research approach from students who have been and are doing internships, employees of businesses in Da Nang can be invited to answer the survey. Because those employees themselves may have worked for a long time or may have just joined the company, the survey will have a higher accuracy rate for us, but since we are students, it is difficult to approach or invite them to take our survey.

2. Improvements in future research

2.1. Time management and Update plan Such activities may be too broad or complicated for an appropriate duration calculation. If an operation takes up more than 10% of the project timetable, you may want to break it up into multiple tasks. A work breakdown structure can be used to break down these activities into smaller, more manageable jobs. This allows you to more precisely define goals and forecast how long things would take. A work breakdown structure is also effective for increasing transparency because it allows you to allocate specific duties to project members. Weekly project updates are also a wonderful thing to become used to. Instead of working hard to get it in time for the deadline, try to leave some open time before the deadline in case dangers arise. This way, you'll have enough time to mitigate or eliminate them. We will be able to accomplish your work on time with the help of good time management. To improve time management, we must employ a variety of strategies, including:

  • Begin your study as soon as possible
  • Create a detailed plan for the project and assign a deadline to each work
  • Prioritize the most important activities
  • Use technology to assist with research activities and processes, such as surveying with Google Forms.
  • Set a date sooner than planned so that we have time to implement it if there is a danger. 2.2. Find quality research resources and improve survey quality Find reliable, high-quality, and not too old research literature, such as university research papers, teacher research papers, prominent academics, and government organizations, that are can help us understand the challenges of the topic we are studying more easily. These are often highly invested research publications, with the goal of improving the accuracy and reliability of research results. We will gather more from those papers to complete our research paper if we have a good research paper to refer to. Improving survey quality is important because accurate survey results allow us to generate more accurate assessments from which we can come up with the best ideas and solutions for products. final. To improve survey quality, we should ask good questions and avoid rewriting the same information.
    1. Risk management A risk is an unforeseen event or situation that could affect your project. Not all hazards are bad. Certain circumstances (such as finding a simpler way to complete an activity) or events (such as discounts on

VIII. Conclusion Since this is my first analysis, there are many errors and omissions. I have recognized my weakness and plan to address it next time. In the following report, I will handle and work more comfortably, and at the same time I will point out the shortcomings of the study. If I have the opportunity to work with Ms. Phan Thanh Tra again, I would be very grateful. I think this research paper will help people understand how to write research report.
