2. Ethics Ethics study the nature of moral virtues. It evaluates human action. It is a study of moral judgements. *Insist the obedience to moral law. 3. Epistemology Epistemology is a study of the validity of knowledge. It addresses varied problems. Varied problems โ— Reliability โ— Extent โ— Kinds of knowledge 4. Logic Logic evaluates human reasoning assessed to strict principles of validity. Came from the Greek word logike. Common Logical Fallacies โ— Ad hominem โ—‹ When the author attacks his opponent instead of the argument. โ— Appeal to Authority โ—‹ When the author claims his argument is right because someone famous or powerful supports it. โ— Straw Man โ—‹ Destroying the smaller argument to lose focus to the central argument. 5.
