●First conditional:
○If I get sick, I will go to the doctor (If + present simple, will + verb infinitive).
○I’m not sure, but if happens I’ll do it.
■Possible and likely future outcomes.
■Probable situations.
●Second conditional:
○If I got sick, I would go to the doctor (If + past simple, would + verb infinitive).
■Imagine when the present situation is different.
■Not probable situations/unreal situation.
●Third conditional:
○If I had been sick, I would have gone to the doctor (If + past perfect, would
have + past participle).
■Imagine a different past, different to the one that actually happened.
