H: Hello people. Welcome to Dies show. Today we have a special section where we will learn how to have a healthy life, so this time I brought two nutritionists N and N2, N1: Hi, Diego. N2: HI, Diego. H: well guys I understand that you are nutritionists in different areas N1 in a healthy diet and N2 in healthy lifestyle. So, N1 How can we have a healthy diet? N1: It's important to remember to eat in a balanced way. Don't eat a lot of junk food, don't drink a lot of sodas or energy drinks and don't eat salty food. Also remember to eat vegetables, fruits, beans and the most important, drink plenty of water. Healthy food is better than junk food. H: Can people who suffer from the disease have the same diet? Like diabetes, anemia, high pressure. etc. N1: No. It’s depending on the disease. For example, people with diabetes can’t eat a lot of fruits because it is so sweet for them. H: So, it's better for people with diabetes to eat more vegetables than fruits. N1: Yes! Now I’m going to talk about a healthy diet. If you are an adult, you must eat from a 9 - inch plate and if you are a child, you should eat a 7-inch plate. First divide the plate in half and fill one of them with vegetables. There are two types of vegetables starchy like potatoes, corn, peas, or plantains and non-starchy like zucchini, jicama, cucumbers, carrots, or salad. If you have diabetes, fill half your plate with non-starchy vegetables. Then ¼ (one quarter) with whole grains or starches, like brown rice, corn, beans, or whole wheat pasta, In the other quarter add some lean protein like tofu, grilled fish or chicken. You can drink one cup of coffee, tea, milk or water. Remember not to skip any meal, is better to eat something simple than not eat anything.
H: Thanks for the information. So, people. If you want to eat healthy, the best option is to follow this diet. Remember people, healthy food is tastier than junk food N2: Tell me about you Diego, are you practice any sport or you go to the gym? H: No. I don't practice any exercise; the gym is the furthest to my home. N2: It's very bad to hear that. Therefore, today I'm going to talk about exercises we can do at home or another place. Remember guys, the best thing in the world is do exercises. H: What are the exercises we can do at home or another place? N2: We can do aerobics exercises, resistance exercises, cardio and some sports. For aerobics you can do. March on the spot for 15 seconds, shoulders push up for 15 seconds, trunk side flexion for 15 seconds, sit to stand for 15 seconds, and hit flexion for 15 seconds. For resistance exercise you can do, push-ups, weight lifting and sit-ups. For cardio you can do, running, swimming and cycling. For sport you can chose the sport you like the most, like football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, etc. (The host name) you have healthy habits? H: Yeah! I don’t smoke, I drink plenty of water, I do relax activities like yoga, walking, cooking, etc. N2: Sounds good! Others healthy habits are sleep 8 hours or more a day, do the things you like the most, have good hygiene and don’t eat salty food. H: I want to eat a dessert. Why don't we go to eat some dessert? N 1 : That’s fine with me. I know of Panhela, it’s a restaurant that sells healthy desserts. N2: Let’s go to panhela’s restaurant.
