READING TASK
The most di4icult thing about living here will be the climate. I think it must be very
intense. I think it must be very cold, almost impossible for people to carry out
important activities normally. It must be limiting. For example, going out at night for a
walk or hike is not possible, I don't think, because the cold increases more at night.
Noah does mention it. In the first paragraph, they mention that temperatures range
from -5°C to -28°C, and -15°C during the day. These are obviously very low
temperatures and are related to my assumption.

READING TASK

The most di4icult thing about living here will be the climate. I think it must be very intense. I think it must be very cold, almost impossible for people to carry out important activities normally. It must be limiting. For example, going out at night for a walk or hike is not possible, I don't think, because the cold increases more at night. Noah does mention it. In the first paragraph, they mention that temperatures range from - 5°C to - 28°C, and - 15°C during the day. These are obviously very low temperatures and are related to my assumption.

Noah's main points are the temperature, the climate in general, the indoor temperature, where they stay, the relationship or behavior of people living in very closed spaces, food, local food (if possible, fishing for local products), and finally the most extreme part of living in Antarctica. I find your experience very interesting, allowing you to learn about one of the most extreme places to live. I think it satisfies many of people's curiosity and you learn new and interesting things. I could live there for a month, since I prefer the cold climate more than warm climates, and I also enjoy being indoors. I also have good social skills, so it wouldn't be di4icult for me to face the new challenges of living there. C

  • I was there in October, an it was about - 15°C during the day.
  • Where I was, the average temperatura was - 5°C in January.
  • The area only gets 60 to 80 milimeters of snow a year.
  • But the wind blows up to 185 kilometers per hour. D: I expect to see a lot of numbers in the informational texts, as they are intended to provide information to doctors, probably the kind that would provide figures on a study or survey, for example, about population growth over the last 10 years.
