STORY PLAN REWORK

If you would like to regain points lost on this outline in Assignment 3, here's your chance to re-work it and try to get 10 out of 10 points. You must submit YOUR ORIGINAL GRADED ASSIGNMENT 3 along with this rework. Complete the following outline with a story plan for your Short Feature using these guidelines. You will use this outline as a guide as you write your story and develop your website. Your final story, however, may vary from this outline as you collect new information.

  1. Develop a catchy story title for your short feature (SUGGESTION: DO THIS LAST).
  2. List the appropriate category for your story
  3. Story Topic: Write down 3 topic headings for your story. These headings should be the specific elements of your story that will achieve your goals or mission.
  4. Sub Topic: For each topic heading, list at least two descriptors, facts, or additional information to help clarify your story topic. You may list broad topics, then fill in the details later once you’ve collected more information.
  5. Video Element: Describe an appropriate video to enhance your topic (i.e. interview with chairman about this topic, :30 second clip of tractors at Tractor Pull, :30 second clip of band on stage). A video should provide additional material that can’t be captured as vividly in print. Consider things that have more impact with audio and movement such as an interview, a sport, or music.
  6. Photo Element: Describe a visual that will enhance your topic (i.e. map of Bowling Green showing natural wetlands, dogs being walked on leash at Humane Society, a group of students dancing at Dance Marathon).
