Adult program Project Guidelines and Rationale

- The driving question of this project is… What are some differences between Japanese and Chinese festivities? - What do I need to know to develop this project? I need to know about the days that are celebrated in those countries, what do they celebrate in those celebrations or festivities, how they celebrate those celebrations or festivities, what they do to celebrate, what they eat in those celebrations and what is the origin of some celebrations. - How can I apply the contents of this course in my project? I´ll be using “Clauses and phrases that show contrasts and exceptions.” I´ll be using “vocabulary that´s about accepting things as they are and to make changes.” And finally, I´ll be using “supporting statements.” - My next steps are… Doing research on governmental and on trusted websites that have information about the festivities in those countries. My most important concerns, problems or questions are… How to differentiate those celebrations in both countries? - This project is important because… We need to learn more about the cultural and traditional differences between all Asiatic eastern area. (In this case, between Japanese and Chinese traditions.)
