Introduction.
Due to the new plan to build a major all-inclusive resort our organization has decided
to send a proposal because of our concerns about the current situation. The aim of this
proposal is to present an analysis of this situation and suggestions to reconsider the
plan.
The lack of suitability.
It’s known that tourism has increased significantly over the last decades, becoming
one of the most remunerating income sources for a great number of countries.
Nonetheless, tourism also comes with disadvantages, including environmental
damage, crime rise, lack of job security and more. All these problems are caused by the
tourists’ negligence and lack of empathy and respect for the foreign country, as well as
the massification of people in certain areas.
The build of this all-inclusive resort could come with the massive attraction of tourists,
leading to a lot of the disadvantages previously stated and its construction would
cause a destruction of the designated area for the resort. Moreover, it would be
needed a great investment, both monetary and of resources, that could be used for
other public works.
Suggestions and recommendations.
It’s proposed the construction of several single hotels in urban areas instead of
a major resort, so the tourism would be regulated and the environment
wouldn’t suffer much damage, plus the resources needed would decrease
significantly.
Conclusion.
If the plan is taken down and these suggestions are implemented instead the
possibilities of a gradual deterioration of the town will decrease and the impact it will
have in the future will be positive for all of the population.
