My name is Vicky and I´m eighteen years old, I decided to
study here at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid because
my uncle who is my inspiration studied here. I am from
Lanzarote in the Canary Ilands, and I decided to study in
Madrid because of the UCM and because I have family here to
support me in this new phase of my life. I think that
English is so important to learn because it is the language
that everyone uses to try and communicate with each other
when they are from different countries and speak different
languages. Speaking English is one of the best ways to
build yourself a great future and it opens so many doors to
you. I picked this subject because I like to improve my
level of English and build myself a big future, and the
possibility of travel all over the world without problems
of communication with the people in the places that I will
go. I never had the chance to visit England or the United
States or any other country that speaks English as the main
language, but I like to go and visit all these countries in
the future.
