From the concept map I have identified that the problem id about having a weak immune
system.

The proposed solution to the problem is to eat food rich in antioxidants and to identify locally
grown vegetables rich in Vitamin C as natural sources of antioxidant.

The proposed study anchored scientific concepts such as reduction and oxidation or redox
reaction.
4. What variables (Independent, dependent, and controlled) are involved in the study?
The independent variable involved in the study is the locally grown vegetables, dependent
variable included is the vitamin C content, and the controlled variables involved are the amount of
vegetables analyzed, iodine titration, and Vitamin C tablets.

study?
The possible title of the proposed study could be “Determination of Vitamin C in Locally Grown
Vegetables Using Iodine Titration to Strengthen Weak Immune System.”

Possible scientific questions that can be formulated in the study are: “What is the amount of
Vitamin C content in locally grown vegetables?” and “Are substantial differences seen in the Vitamin C
content of locally grown vegetables and generally grown vegetables?”

The proposed study is considered as Basic Research as it seeks to expand knowledge in the field
of study.

The safety measures that are to be considered in doing this study include the proper use of
protective gloves, masks, laboratory gowns, and ensuring caution in using glass wares.
