"Is Music A Drug? Maybe It Is...? "

"This may seem ridiculous to some that easily dismiss such questions as false without thinking about things in depth. First one needs to define: ""Psychoactive"", Psychoactive: affecting the mind or mood or other mental processes. (Music does this) We then need to define the word, ""drug"" Drug: ""A substance that has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body, in particular"" (music may not be a substance as such, but it is indeed the product of a substance just like alcohol is the product of a substance, except in a completely different form, instruments) You may be thinking, ""instruments are not a substance though"" Of course they are, all substances are composed of matter. Music alone is not a chemical substance like alcohol is, but both cause chemical changes within the brain, so wouldn't it'd be logical to say music is a different form of drug without the physical chemical composition? Now the argument is, well if music can be considered as a drug, wouldn't every other external stimuli be also consider as a drug..."
