What are the basic methods for Soil Testing?
My junior asked me about method of soil testing. I know the procedures performed in it but don’t know the proper names. Please tell me.

There are two basic methods
- The oldest uses a chemical reaction
- The newer method uses a pH meter and a spectrophotometer
The spectrophotometer passes a beam of light through a solution and measures the amount of light absorbed.
This method is expensive but fast and reliable.
