What is Modem?
Modem is a device used in internet communication. Please anyone tell me about its internal circuit, by which the communication is performed.

A satellite modem or sat modem is usually a modem employed to establish data transfers using a communications satellite being a relay.

A "modem" represents "modulator-demodulator". A satellite modem's main function is to transform a port bitstream with a radio signal and vice versa. There are several devices offering only a demodulator (no modulator, thus only allowing data to get downloaded by satellite) which can be generally known as "satellite modems." The unit are utilized in satellite Internet access (in this instance uploaded info is transferred by using a conventional PSTN modem or an ADSL modem).
